haha! hey, so there are two different versions of the film on the disc. One is the Unrated version which was the version released on vhs and the way russell wanted it released theatrically after it was butchered, and the other is a directors cut that russell assembled for the laserdisc back in the 90s.

I have only watched the directors cut version so far, an it looked great. Arrow gave the film a 2k scan, though before the directors cut started there was a note on screen saying arrow worked with the best possible quality but some scenes are standard def inserts and the transfer quality may vary. Something that was similar with the manhunter directors cut scream factory disc. But i didn't really notice the difference in quality during the whole time i watched crimes where as when i watched the manhunter dc it was visibly noticeable which scenes are standard def inserts.

As for bonus features:

a new 2k scan on both versions unrated-107min dc-110min
(even tho in the directors cut i stated there are standard def inserts but weren't really noticeable)

you get the commentary with russell and barry sandler

a new interview w barry sandler (was a great int)

a new interview w rick wakeman (also a great int)

7 deleted scenes w/optional com by sandler

it's a lovely life music video for mtv directed by russell an music by wakeman to promote the film

you get a nice little booklet about the film

it comes in a nice glossy slip cover and reversible artwork on the insert w the original poster art on the other side

and a dvd copy is also included along with the bluray

a number of websites claim one of the features is russell attending a 2009 screening of crimes in orlando, but don't let this fool you. Its not written as a feature on the back of the cover and its nowhere to be found on either disc unfortunately.

hope this helps

How did you find the audio track on the directors track? Mine seems to be slightly out of sync, nothing detrimental just somewhat irritating. I'm hoping it's just a problem on my end
