Sexual chemistry?
Did anyone notice that there was some sort of sexual chemistry between James Remar and Richard Gere? I sort of noticed it, then I found out they had a gay sex scene in a play BEFORE The Cotton Club. Any info?

sharenot that i know of, but sounds interesting now that u bring it up.
shareThere's a kind of dark underlying s/m element in the film, I think. Schultz (Remar) in some sense degrades his hornist buddy to be a servant, not really a full man, by showing he can kill him - and Dixie seems to see a similar dynamism in Schultz's juggling of Vera.
shareGreat - I'll never be able to watch Remar as Ajax in The Warriors again the same way.
shareI noticed a lot of homo-erotic vibes going on. Well at least among the white male characters.
When Joe Dallesandro first showed up as Charles 'Lucky' Luciano, I thought he was a gay gigolo waiting for one of his mobster customers.
Owney and Frenchy seemed like a cute down low couple.
Dutch seemed to be into Dixie as much as Vera.
No two persons ever watch the same movie.share
