Larry (Ooops) Laurence Fishburne.

Man,

In a career full of not very good performances, this was a tremendous stinker. I felt embarrassed for him watching this.

I realized he was only 14 in Apocalypse Now, and I thought that was his best role. I don't understand how FFC could see this performance and not do something about it.

Amateurs built The Ark, professionals built The Titanic.

Or anything else Laurence has been in. He always turns out AT THE VERY LEAST a solid performance.

Rest in Peace Johnny Otis, Etta James, a Rhythm & Blues legend & a true artist you will be missed.

Although I wouldn't go so far as to call Fishburne "one of the greatest actors of our time," I do think he's very good. Yes, the role he played in "Cotton Club" was not all that (similar to the movie itself), but he was great in "Boyz in the Hood" and "What's Love Gotta Do with It?" His portrayal of Ike Turner in the latter movie was indeed awesome!
