There was a scene when he was making a move on "Red Riding hood" he is a child molester/predator. That was really unsettling when he put a piece of food in his mouth and wanted the girl to take it out of his mouth, ick!

Everything in this film is symbolic, and the Huntsman/Wolf is a representation of all of her emerging adult desires...he is a MAN not a boy, he is sexually aggressive not awkward, he's able to attract her in a way no one else can... he's Rosalines personal fantasy of what she (as a teenager ) would fantasize about, because for a teenage girl entering womanhood those immature adolecent boys just aren't enough and because its a dream Rosaline is free to explore these feeling without any lines being crossed...so yeah the flirting and the sexual tension between them was very much intended.
