That is All...

If Book was in Intelligence B4 finding God,does that mean He's a Shepherd Spy? (Thank You,Spike..)

I can't quite remember when it was last played on TV; must have been at least ten years, maybe more. Hope everyone caught it who wanted to as the DVD is deleted and very hard to find.

reply

It wasn't quite so long as 10 years ago, as I caught it on iPlayer sometime around 2010-ish, give or take a year.

It was on BBC2 the other night / early morning. Caught it in the wee small hours and thoroughly enjoyed it. Had meant to catch it for years. Really enjoyed it. Took me back to the Glasgow of my young childhood and visits to town with my mother. House of Frasers hasn't changed much in the intervening years especially at Christmas but just about everything else in the city has. The clydeside docks that Alan walks down has been completely renovated and developed. The towering Daily Record building in the movie is long gone and what was then a brand spanking new build area in Summerston has a slightly more lived in look now. Anyway it was fascinating viewing and a enjoyable tale to boot.
Now I just need to see Tom Conti's 'Heavenly Pursuits' aka 'The Gospel According to Vic' which was made and set in Glasgow a few years later.

Clydeside has totally changed now. Almost scary now that there didn't appear to be fences along that route at all, so anybody could just jump in.
