New blu-ray release in 2016

Hopefully the commentary track with Bill Forsyth on the out of print DVD will be included:

I won a slightly used copy on eBay for about $20 with shipping. No commentary, but there are interviews of Bill Forsyth, Bill Paterson and Clare Grogan, plus the blu-ray has subtitles for the hearing impaired which is good for understanding the thick Scottish accents. It's possible to download the uk DVD on but torrent if you don't relish paying $69 with shipping from amazon for new copies. The blu-ray looks great. A lot more detail and better audio, but some night scenes are grainy.

He original uk DVD didn't have subtitles so it was hard to understand a lot of what was said. Plus it would be hard to follow when listening to the commentary. I like having subtitles when playing commentaries. You can download it by Bit Torrent. It took me a few days but I got it years ago since the DVD is out of print. Search for "comfort and joy pal DVD" or something like that. You need a multi-region player as the DVD is region 2 and the blu-ray Is region B locked.
