Just last night actually. I remember hearing about the movie when it first came out in the 80's and I was about 5-6 years old at the time. Finally, after all these years, I found the DVD pretty cheap at Wal-Mart and watched it. A quick summary...The first two acts, basically the first hour were really good, with lots of creepy moments. The last half hour or third act, I felt it got pretty silly and seemed to roll downhill the wrong way. Overall, I'd say it was decent, but a better ending and it would have been much better. I really wish I had seen this as a kid though.
I was 9, and I had a group of friends over for Halloween. My friend brought this movie, Children of the Corn II, and the first four Lepreachaun films from his cousin's collection.
When I was 14 years old , when it was first released in the theaters . Wow , I am old ! Loved it then , I still love it but more for nostalgia reasons . My first horror movie without "parental" supervision . My friends and I packed into the theater .
5th or 6th grade. I went to see my parents in our basement and they were watching scariest movie moments..and I just so happened to be there for the COTC part..long story short- I saw Malachi-and HAD to see the movie..
