David Babcock = David Lynch?

I could have sworn that one of the two guys from Indiana (in town for the "self-actualizing conference") was played by David Lynch. "Phil" is credited as "David Babcock", who has no other credits listed. Is it possible it's just some guy who looks and sounds a lot like David Lynch?

I can tell you its not David Lynch, because I played the other guy from Indiana. David Babcock is a talented writer and comedian who moved on from Brother to a successful career in LA as a television writer.

Just watched this movie and I swear that one of the guys from Indiana is Kevin Spacey.

I just watched Kevin Spacey win an oscar, but I swear it was actually Ted Striker. Or possibly Ethel Merman.
