Why has this title become so immortalized?

I have to admit "Breakin 2: Electric Bugaloo" is a pretty great title, i love to hear it. Its crazy how much that title has become immersed in popular culture, and it has little to do with the movie itself, its all about the title.

The title is immersed in pop culture simply because it's probably the most ridiculous phrase you can see on a marquee. Plus, it's really fun to say "Electric Boogaloo", so it's effortless to tack it onto any second entry in a movie series that ends with "two".

Kevin Smith used it in Dogma, and he mentioned something about Clerks 2:Electric Boogaloo, I dunno if that has something to do with it...

It was Premeditated Murder by Bucket!
