SHort version on TCM?

It was just on TCM, and there were some scenes missing near the end. I remember Ozone and Special K had a big blow up, and that she blew him off for the producer guy, which added all this drama to the big show at the end. They built all that stuff up, but on TCM the scenes reight before the finale were gone. Are there differnt versions out there?

Are you saying that TCM edited the movie? Please be specific on what you think was cut. To my knowledge, there are no alternate versions of Breakin circulating. I videotaped a cable broadcast version back in 1985 and also have the laserdisc and both are the same as what's been airing on The Movie Channel and Showtime over recent years.

You're confusing this movie with the sequel, Electric Boogaloo. In that movie, Kelly's agent gets her a gig in Paris and she has to make a choice that night and Ozone pretty tells her that it's her choice and to take it (and makes a comment about Kelly's "fiance" Derek). As Kelly walks away, Ozone's ex-girlfriend confronts her and tells Kelly that she doesn't belong here and in a haste, she calls her agent and tells him that she will accept the gig (a little past the 1/2 way point and shortly before Turbo falls and breaks his leg and ends up in the hospital - causing Kelly to cancel her flight and ultimately the trip to Paris and ends up helping with the show to save the Miracles building). I just watched the sequel moments ago and remembered your thread you posted and noticed this is what you are referring to.
