Doesn't hold up well
From how I remember it as a 10 year old to the 40 year old I am now. I can't believe I saw this movie 4 times in the movie theater. It is so bad.

It was always a "bad" movie, and the premise has been repeated ad nauseam since then.
But at that time it was great to see the dancing, and the whole spectacle of clothing/music/80's vibe/etc.......(still is).
Fun times, and waaaaay better than the crap today.
It came out the same year I was born and I watched it pretty much every weekend as a kid. I'm early 30s now and still enjoy it, I enjoy it differently to what I did as a kid but it holds nostalgia, reminds me of childhood so I'll always love it.
