The main characters should have used their real names and/or nicknames. That is what most of the cast of "Purple Rain" did. It was probably because like the cast of "Breakin'", they couldn't act. Adolfo Quiñones should have been "Shabba Do" instead of Ozone, Michael Chambers should have been "Boogalo Shrimp" instead of Turbo and Lucinda Dickey should have been Lucy instead of Kelly or Special K.
