Soundtrack

Does anybody know where I can get the soundtrack?

You might want to try the GEMM website (www.gemm.com), or perhaps stores specializing in hard-to-find vinyl LPs.

I have a copy of the 45 rpm single "Body Rock" by Maria Vidal put away somewhere. I also have the picture sleeve that came with it, and IIRC Ashford and Simpson are on the b-side.

Since you haven't been on IMDb for almost six years I don't guess you'll see this but if anyone wants the soundtrack LP I would imagine the easiest place to find it or other old records is ebay, outside of speciality websites like gemm which are probably more expensive (not that ebay is always cheap).

I have never seen this movie and basically know nothing about it but I LOVED the title song back in 1984 which was a small hit (top 70 or so in Billboard) for Maria Videl - no nothing about her, presumed she was the leading lady in the film but now I see that's not so. The movie's hard flop probably kept this song from climbing the charts any further but it's one of the great dance records of the era IMO. I can't remember where I found the soundtrack, I presume a charity shop a few years later but I still have it and just pulled it out recently to play, never having bothered with most of the other tracks until this week and missed out on a sensational powerpop/country-rock song by Dwight Twilley on the LP titled "Why You Wanna Break My Heart" which I see was later revived for WAYNE'S WORLD (haven't seen that movie either although I know it was a big hit). Was surprised to read in the reviews that Lorenzo Lamas sings in this movie as he is not on the soundtrack although of course he is pictured on the cover along with presumably the leading lady who all these years I've thought it was a picture of Maria Videl!
