Major Spoiler Question(s) here please ...

was just curious to know on this - no big deal . Where was Gloria those several nights around 6PM when Holly B. was at her home doing her " body double routine " like clockwork ? Also what if there had been a risk of Gloria returning home early before Holly finished her floor show ? Otherwise this was an excellent 1980's movie with memorable cast just the same .

That's true Gloria's husband Alexander Revelle ( aka Sam Bouchard ) most likely would have covered all bases on this whole little scheme . Of course he was still taking a huge risk on counting on it all working out perfectly for him ( but no plan like that is 100% either ? lol ) . Still it would have been a riot if Alexander Revelle had gotten caught ( the look on his face would have been Kodak priceless lol ) . I guess I just wanted to see Gloria survive in this one and Jake be the outward hero too ( since everything that happened to Jake was done in a most untimely manner for him that made him look crazy and no one believed him at all on it ? ) . I still really liked this movie anyway the storyline is a really good one it had a hint of a Alfred Hitchcock overtone to it but in 1980's fashion . I just wished the DVD had an extra alternate ending to it ( wishful thinking on all this for me of course lol ) . Thanks Mark1985 for your subject post .

it was a total hitchcock overtone. i don't know how de palma ever got away with it. not just with body double but with blow out, hi mom, the fury, raising cain (to name a few).

I had no idea that was de palma's angle on his movies lol ( will have to look up his profile soon ) . I'm not really very familiar with de palma's work or those other movie titles you mentioned here . I just always liked this movie because of it's intriguing storyline , well known cast , and it's 1980's flair . Thanks PadreOfAnotherEra for the other de palma movie recommendations and your reply .

I just checked out De Palma's IMDB Profile and he did another favorite of mine too " Carrie " from 1976 . I didn't even put it together that it was him after all these years that made this movie lol . I thought Stephen King made this one as well as wrote it lol . I guess I need to check up on this director & producer stuff a little more often .

Definitely Mark1985 " Dress To Kill " was an really good movie ( and yet another one from De Palma that I didn't know was his either lol ) . I haven't seen that one on TV in at least 20 years now . I wasn't very fond of " Scarface " myself but I do like the actor Al Pacino .

I remember hearing her in the pay phone telling that one person who was supposed to meet her at the hotel that she's never home until either after 7pm or 8pm never said where she was that's all she said
