Frankie goes to hollywood

if you weren't there then, when that song was the sh!t, then you just can't appreciate that scene from this movie. every time i catch this film the "relax' segment always takes me back to the 80s in a big way. it was such a unique time.

also i had forgotten that this movie was incorporated into the music vid. (early MTV. those were the days!)

Highlight of the film.

I like the song when I first heard in this film and scenes fit it.

There were several versions of the video. I saw one (I believe the first British version) that was, well... interesting.

I saw a version of Relax, that was interesting as well. To put it bluntly, the whole band seemed to be performing in their underwear.

Mickyfinn, is that your version too?

Talk about a one hit wonder. Yeah that song was THE club dance house song of 1984. People wore white shirts with RELAX in huge bold print. Ahhh, the '80s tack-o-rama.

Best scene in the movie.

'One hit wonder'

So, you've never heard of The Power of Love, a UK #1 record? It was only beaten to the Christmas 1984 #1 record by Live Aid's 'Do They Know It's Christmas?'

reply

"Talk about a one hit wonder."

Two Tribes doesn't ring a bell? Its better than Relax.
