British humor (humour?) is an acquired taste, but it's worth acquiring.

I thought it was hilarious, and I'm not even British. 7/10.

I'm British and I thought it was dismally unfunny. There is more than one type of British Humour.

Im British and found a lot of it very funny, I also find it funny when folks come on the internet to smugly announce they dont find a comedy funny as if to suggest they have a more sophisticated sense of humour then the average viewer ... noone cares if you dont find something amusing.

Love Price and Everett but I didnt really care for this movie.

I was amused by the film rather than finding it laugh-out-loud stuff. Barry Cryer's material for Kenny Everett was a lot better on tv. Horror spoofs had been done quite a bit before this. So some of the comic devices used were becoming a little bit hackneyed by the time this was made. The presence of Vincent Price is great. Although seeing him reduced to four-letter word expletives was not what I really would have wished for. But strangely enough, they are the parts of the film where I did laugh out loud.

Yep. This would have worked better as a TV special lasting 30 minutes, like Ken's Christmas specials were. It was too drawn out and some scenes were painfully slow. It had a few amusing parts, Vincent Price's scenes were great and the Carrie scene was the highlight, but it sagged badly in the middle and the talented cast just weren't given good enough material to save it.
