When Marty asks Debra how long she's known Meurice, she says about 10 years. Then a few minutes later, Meurice asks Debra what her last name is.

Marty: So how long have you know Meurice?
Debra: About ten years.
....
Debra: [after Marty leaves] Nice guy.
Meurice: Not really. What'd you say your last name was?

Did she lie about knowing him for 10 years, or was this a goof?

The stars are ageless, aren't they?

My understanding is that they had just met that day across the bar. They were telling Marty that b.s. about knowing each other cos Marty was being a dick and they were messing with him.
