God, this was such a great movie! Funny funny funny

Haven't seen this flick in years but it's one of my all time favorite comedies. I came here because Gary Marshall just passed away and for some reason I thought he directed it but, of course, he didn't. Really surprised at the low rating. Didn't know it bombed at the box office either, I thought it was a hit. I remember when it was released in theaters. I saw it many times on HBO a few months after it came out. I laugh out loud when I think of some of the scenes, like when Michael Caine hurriedly covers himself with sand on the beach, or when he comes out of his bedroom barefoot and steps on the candles. And Michelle Johnson -WOW! Great movie IMO.

glad it bombed, wouldn't waste 10 seconds on a film like this.

Never heard of it. The poster and the cast and the year it was released suggest i'm going to love it. I'll be sure to drop my thoughts here after I track it down.

It may be time for a re-watch. I haven't seen it since it was in the theaters.
