when Axle was telling the supercop story, we see Taggart with his head down and his hand covering his face holding two fingers to his eyes. Does this indicates he was trying to hide himself from laughter out of character?
shareI think so. There are a few times, the actor playing Taggart and the actor playing the Bogomil look like they were trying not to laugh.

I think he was just pinching his brow knowing the Lt. wasn't gonna buy that load of BS Axel was feeding him with that whole "sixth sense / super cop" stuff..
The actors were trying not to laugh for real because Eddie Murphy improvised the whole 'Supercops' speech. They kept the take for the genuine reactions and the fact that it shows the Beverly Hills police were actually starting to like Axel Foley.
