Okay, here's the thing. I watched Beverly Hills Cop and shortly after I watched Fletch (1985) too. I liked both the movies, although BHC is arguably a bit better of the two. Both have pretty good soundtracks too.
Do you know of any other similar comedies with the same kind of awesome 80s soundtracks?
are soundtracks what you're mainly looking for? if not, then check out "midnight run"...directed by the same guy (martin brest) and stars robert deniro, charles grodin and john ashton (taggert in beverly hills cop). not the same but has a similar feel...and now that i'm older, i find it to be funnier than beverly hills cop.
