How old is Axel supposed to be?
The reason I ask is because he asks Jenny if he's too old to study art. She says yes, but why? I assume he's in his early or mid-20ies.

Mikey Tandino and Axel stirred up *beep* when they were 15 year old as I understood - Mikey had to go to fail for a few years (maybe 5 years?).
So when he comes out, he can't be older than 20?

How is 20 too old to study? People in their early 30ies still study.

The too old to study art line was a joke. Foley was probably around 25-27 i guess, seeing as he had only been on the force for a short time.

I was surprised Murphy was only 23 when he made this film, he looked about 30 to me. I think he was playing older here.
