Berkoff and Banks were two of the greatest screen villians

Both actors were incredible in making their characters so despicable...that by the end, you can't wait for either to be offed.

Steve berkoff brought the right amount of smugness and intellect to the role to make it work. Maitland is clearly someone who uses his postion in society to cover up the fact that he is really a monster. And he conveyed it so well.

And banks was excellent. From his first scene where he is giving Mikey the impression that he is letting him go...then suddenly punching and shooting him was startling. And the rest of the film, he is like a terminator. Having a completely blank look on his face...but clearly is gaining the urge to kill foley.

Two great villians. Unlike the sequels whose villians were simply laughable

They were pretty immaculate villains, Berkoff quiet but vicious, and Banks sinister and sadistic. Michael Champion's brief performance as Zack's also-sadistic sidekick Casey was all right too, also satisfying when he bashed Axel in the head aiding in Mikey's murder, rubbed it in his face in the warehouse, then got blown away by Rosewood.
