Read 'Easy and Hard Ways Out' by Robert Grossbach

If you want a good read, go to abbooks.com or whatever used book recourse on the web you can find, and order "Easy and Hard Ways Out" by Robert Grossbach, which this horrible movie is very, very lightly based on. It's a great book, kind of a M*A*S*H in America. It deals with the engineers and the soldier overseas (named "Buchfarer", not "Landry", and dealing with a jet, not a tank) and it does it very well, very realistically, and without a lame Russian KGB sideplot.

Has anyone read this book?
