What is that song that was played at the Roxy?

I really want to know what that song is that is played right before "Breaker's Revenge". The lyrics go something like this:

Said you were losing me.
Shadows of the night,
seem to follow me.
But I said, only love...

If anyone out there knows the name of this song and the artist that sings it I would be most grateful to hear from you. Thank you folks, and keep rockin' steady!!!

Aw man is this song available anywhere? 12 inch, soundtrack, artists' album...ANYWHERE? I LOVE this song & I too was trying to find out the title & artist. I eventually got my answer & couldn't believe it was the same artist who sang the Slow Jam "How Can I Ease the Pain" back in '91! I've looked for this song everywhere & only found it on YouTube. I would love to have it to put on my iTunes. If anyone can help me I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

It is only available on the 1995 CD - The Freestyle compilation - best of criminal records. I too would love this on 12".

Btw - did you know Lisa Fischer went under the alias of Xena who released the electro/freestyle record - on the upside? She also provided the chorus vocal for Play that beat Mr DJ by GLOBE and Whiz Kid.

Cool thanx. I'm gonna see if I can find that. Would love it on 12" but since I upgraded to the Serato now it would be awesome if I could get it digital. Yeah you're right I forgot about that. I have that song on The Perfect Beats compilation Vol.3. Did not know that about Play That Beat though. Thanks for your help.
