Deprived Of A Great Soundtrack!!

Yes, today, one can easily find the end music credits to the film, and burn their own CD. However, I'm curious to know why Amos and the rest decided not to release an accompanying soundtrack?

Problem being: some of the songs may have been written exclusively for the Soundtrack.
