Full version of the pilot movie...

The video version of this runs for 85 mins, but I remember seeing a version on UK tv that was cut for violence (Gabrielles torture scene etc), but contained several scenes not in the shorter 'movie' version. All in all I think there were about 15 mins of extra scenes, including an extra scene of Moffat using Airwolf against the US. Any help on tracking this version down would be much appreciated...

I recently watched my old VHS copy of Shadow of the Hawke and there is dialog in that version that is missing from the DVD version, but in the VHS copy, the bit where Hawke and Santini check out the Valley of the Gods to find a place to hide Airwolf before they fly over to Libya is missing, unfortunately.

Most of these variations, except for any mention of any DVD release, is given a fairly detailed description in the "Alternate Versions" section for this title. In fact, I came here to ask about the DVD release in this connection, and found that answer already posted. Thanks, folks.

The uncut full-length pilot movie is getting released on blu-ray 2/21/2011. Not sure if it will be region free or if the aspect ratio is 1:33 or 1:78. If it was released theatrically then there's a good chance it was shot on 35mm and will be 1:78 otherwise it will probably be in the television aspect ratio.

Contents include - Fully restored uncut original feature, stills gallery.

I just watched this Airwolf the movie. I wasn't happy @ all with it. Like some of you said: there's stuff that cut out of this so-called uncut DVD. plus all of the sudden there some swearing in this film that was suppose to be made for TV back in 1984. Such as the F-bomb being dropped a few times. that didn't bother me as much as the fact that they cut alot of the story line. Kinda like @ the end they don't show when Hawke & Archangel are talking about what they plan to do next, now that Airwolf is back.
