is this the movie where one of the people stuck in the elevator is the mild-looking ignorable middle manager, who has stolen a whole lot of money and got trapped in the elevator with it?

Is this the movie where they rescue all but one of the people stuck in the elevator?

Is this the movie where a guy almost steps into an empty elevator shaft in the beginning, hinting at the elevator troubles to come?

I saw a German movie about four or five people stuck in an elevator in the mid 1980s, it was fabulous, but I don't know if this is it.
