The New V seried done a couple of years back.

it was a rollercoaster of good and bad. myself, i liked it. you pretty much have to go into it not expecting an exact remake of the 80s series. the majority of the characters were not likeable (tyler for one) and plots dragged on only to be replaced with something else more annoying (anna and her soul experiments.) somehwere towards the middle of season two, i got more into it. prob due to jane badler and wondering how evil she would become. great cliffhanger but it def felt like they rushed it and crammed too much in only to be canceled. think it would have faired better on syfy than abc since abc never gives sci-fi or supernatural-esq shows a real chance.

I thought it sucked

It didn't really have anything to do with V expect the name and mammal eating alien lizards and it seems to lack a coherent plot. A pity, really.
