my little one just started watching this on netflix and i have a hard time watching the older ones (pre 2009) but it seems that a bunch of people like the older ones...is that right? i definitely prefer the cgi animation.

The CGI Reboots of 80s shows are Terrible
Even the CGI thomas the tank engine was horrible
The old Thomas the tank Engine is way more Superior to the CGI Seasons
I can't stand the CGI, love the old style better.

Sorry , but Thomas needs to be the models, when my kids were watching it, I tuned out the show and just watched the models and scenery, when you realize your looking at model trains up to a 2 feet long the show becomes something more, the work done on the scenery is breathtaking.

shareI agree... I don't like Thomas the Tank Engine in general but I can definitely say the modern episodes are more appealing than the original ones.
