Sealing an engine into a tunnel

Anyone think it was a little extreme? I'm pretty sure this constitutes tortures or Cruel and Unusual.

The Fat Controller is more of a father figure to the engines, and he has to punish the engines when they're naughty, like how naughty kids are. You don't do what you're told, you get punished. Me, I see this as the equivalent of sending a kid to their room or something, or putting them in time outs. I had the latter as consequences as a kid for quite a bit.

The US toned this one down quite a bit.

Were you buried alive?

I don't care about a troll who doesn't pay for his opinion telling me how to review movies.

Well, that story was written in the 40's.

Let's roll some tits up the flagpole and see if anyone gets wood.

Because I'm obviously trying to troll you by disagreeing with you respectively...

I never understood the need for sealing him in. Eventually he would have came around and came out of the tunnel on his own.
