Celebrity Week Lucille Ball, Betty White, Estelle Getty Question

This morning, 10/23/13, GSN aired the first celebrity week episode with Lucy (partnered with a woman whose name I have forgotten), Betty and Estelle. Lucy gave the clue 'Blank Rock' (trying to get her partner to say the word 'Plymouth'. The buzzer sounded (because she used two words), and the partner asked Bert if she could still guess...to which he responded 'Yes'....SHOULDN'T he have said 'No.'?? I have an episode from 12/31/64, in which Sammy Davis also said two words by mistake, and his playing partner Peter Lawford wasn't allowed to take a guess...
