Best Couple
Who was the best couple in Santa Barbara while i adored Cruz and Eden i think Mason and Mary were the best couple. It is a same she was killed so early in the show.

I LOVED Eden and Robert Barr together. Personally, I wanted her to leave Cruz just for him!! hehe, absolutely no one agrees with me on this.

I will agree with you to a point...while I would have always ultimately hoped for Cruz and Eden to get back together, there was something about Robert Barr and her that made me go nuts! I loved them together....so don't fret - you have one in agreement.
shareOf course, it will always be Eden and Cruz, forever and always.. but IF they had to have Eden leave, they could have had Eden end up with someone like Robert, who loved her so much. Unfortunately they killed off Robert so we couldn't even imagine that... we were left with Quinn, who loved Kelly dearly.

Robert and Eden were my fave couple also! there was just something so adorable about him and I loved his storyline. he and Kelly were also one of my fave couples, and in some ways I think I preferred that pairing. I was devestated when channel 10 here in australia cancelled the show right when his evil twin showed up!!!
I think I have some episodes on tape somewhere still but don't know where! Such a shame these cant be released onto DVD. What a boxed set that would be! :-)

I agree with you. Robert and Eden had a great love story, sexy and beautiful. I wanted her to leave Cruz for Robert. After all, she loved Robert first even though she didn't remember that for a long time. Eden and Cruz seemed more like brother and sister than great lovers.
Marcy Walker had fantastic chemistry with Roscoe Born (Robert Barr).

I love Cruz & Eden together, but wouldn't have minded if Robert & Eden started something up for a while. That would have been a good storyline.

I wanted Eden to choose Robert, too. Still, if that had worked out we wouldn't have had Robert and Kelly who were even sweeter together! shareWhat can you say? There were so many great couples on SB... but I have to say, my absolute was Mason and Mary. Boy, did that whole love affair tug at my heartstrings more than any other. And when she got creamed on the rooftop by that sign... what great soap opera. Oh, how I wish they'd bring it back somehow.. if they can show it over in Russia and Norway, etc., why can't SOAPNET get it? Somewhere I read that there were too many *original songs* written for SB that were hits, and so getting the rights to run all of the episodes with music and acting rights would be too expensive. I say, if they have to skip a few episodes, so what! I bet lots of the actors would love to get some kind of nominal residual from repeats in the USA.
shareI loved Mason and Mary too. It's just that Harley Jane Kozak wasn't on the show long enough to have the same connection that Mason and Julia had with me. I would love to find a way to get some of the old episodes. At least from 1984-1989.
