Who is everyone's favorite Kelly? I have to say, I really hated Eileen Davidson in the role. I thought Carrington Garland was great, and I never quite figured out why they let her go. I never got to see Robin Wright in the role, so I can't make that comparison.

Robin Wright- Original and she made Kelly her own caracter.
Carrington Garland- I liked her alot as Kelly, never understood why they let her go.
Kimberly McArthur- Bad storylines during her stint as Kelly, never quite got into her.
Eileen Davidson- Kelly was Edens younger sister, with Eileen she looked like the older sister. Nothing against Eileen, terrific actress. But she was no Kelly Capwell.
I love Robin Wright als Kelly, she is the only Kelly for me!

I was ok with Carrington Garland as an actress
and I think Eileen Davidson was a bad choice, but in the end everything was bad.
Kelly # 1: Robin Wright... she was so pure and so perfect in the role!

Robin Wright was definitely the best Kelly.
Carrington Garland did a very fine job.
Kimberly Macarthur tried hard but I never liked her as Kelly, she was extemely forgetable.
I never got to see Eileen Davidson as Kelly, but I think I am glad about that!

I missed the Robin Wright years on SB. Carrington Garland was my favorite Kelly. She had a great vulnerable quality to her acting and was very beautiful in the role. I loved the Kelly/Robert/Quinn storylines.

Robin Wright was the my favorite Kelly, but I eventually got used to Eileen Davidson, although I HATED when she and Cruz got together.
shareWithout a doubt, Robin Wright was my favorite Kelly. She was the perfect combination of beauty, intelligence, grit, and tragedy.
Carrington Garland was the best recast, IMO. She injected some of those qualities back into Kelly - no offense to the previous Kelly - Kimberly (?), but she seemed like a blank page devoid of all of the things and events that happened to Kelly which should've shaped Kelly. Plus, Jeffrey getting kicked to the curb happened during her tenure because they never developed any chemistry together. (TJ... please!!)
And I absolutely agree that Eileen Davidson was the worst Kelly. Apart from the Kelly/Cruz hookup happening during her tenure, Davidson seemed harsh and hardened.
BTW... the 25th anniversary of SB's premiere is tomorrow, 7/30!!!
Carrington Garland was playing Kelly when I first started watching SB in 1990, so I never saw Robin Wright in the role. A year or so later Eileen Davidson took over the role. I liked Carrington Garland the best simply because that was the first Kelly I knew. I did think Eileen Davidson did a nice job, though.
I was so devastated when the whole Kelly/Robert/Quinn/Flame storyline ended that SB was never the same to me after that. I still watched until the show ended, but those were strong characters and I missed them.
