Remake?

I'm I the only one (I realize I might be!) that thinks that since they're pulling all sorts of shows from the dead to make new series/movies about, that Ripride is a perfect candidate? Iraqi war veterans, IT/Tech savy guy, set in Cali again or Miami, etc etc.
