I was watching La Piovra when I was 6-11 years old. Now I'm watching 24 and can't avoid noticing the resemblance between the two series, as much as my memory allows me. The main character's daughter and wife are kidnapped, and later killed. Nevertheless, he continues fighting the bad guys and on the way loses all of his oroginal friends. I guess Jack Bauer will end up just like Carado Cattani did - with the best death of the entire show.
