Jugs for Justice

That should have been the title. Might have drawn a few more viewers too.

In Mexico senor, these are the years of sadness.

Although your title may be accurately descriptive, the show didn't need an enticing title because it received decent ratings. A significant number of viewers were tuning in.

The cancellation of the show had nothing to do with the number of viewers. Lonni Anderson's mother was diagnosed with cancer midway through the first season. She left the show, went home, and spent months taking care of her mother.

If Ms. Anderson had stayed on the show, it probably would've lasted at least a few years because she and Ms. Carter were two of the biggest sex symbols at the time and detective shows were very popular back then.

I didn't know that sad story, I'm very sorry.
Anyway I wonder (I think it's the right word!) why the show is not available on DVD.
