DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT SILENT FILM IS SHOWN IN THIS EPISODE...THE ONE WHERE THE GHOST IS RUNNING AROUND CHASING PEOPLE...HE LOOKS LIKE HE'S IN THE KKK...

I'm STILL trying to figure out the one with the men in sheets. The one with the secret panel that gets bumped and the woman's grabbed into it, that's Boys of the City from the 1940s with the East Side Kids, and it was also an East Side Kids' picture, Ghosts on the Loose, where the painting moved and the guy behind it sneezed, and the one with Rowlf's mean looking guy with scary eyes is from White Zombie with I believe Boris Karloff. But I STILL can't figure out the one with the men in sheets.

that movie looks like the most terrorifying film ever made....yes...you are right about the other films....except it's bela lugosi in white zombie. but whatever. i'm going to email some silent movie forums and see what happens....

It's an Our Gang Silent short called SHIVERING SPOOKS (1926). Our Gang interrupts this fake medium's con act. They end up inside his house, where the fake swami turns the tables on them (dressing up as ghosts).
I remember seeing this short on American Movie Classics back in 1989, and recognizing the footage was used for ITAMITH. Classic episode BTW, with the Babies confronting Bela Lugosi.
