The 'adult' material

I am 21, my brother is 9, we have a blast watching this show, cause he loves the star wars clips, and he's a huge fan of the Marx Brothers and The Three Stooges (its true!).

So, who can you remember appearing on the show in clip form?

- I have a VHS copy of one episode where Gonzo's talking to Steve Martin (I
acutally thought he was talking to him once)
- Piggy goes "What do you think Jimmy?" when she's hosting a TV show and It
shows Jimmy Stewart saying "This is a very interesting situation!"

There's also homage to the SNL dinner routine, in an episode where Gonzo is a waiter @ a diner, and he keeps reciting "cheeseburger-cheeseburger-cheeseburger!"

"Playhouse Disney shows reruns."

Since when?

reply

I don't know, but I've been seeing episodes on YouTube and the logo in the bottom-right corner is a "Playhouse Disney" logo.

reply

yeah, a long time ago UK playhouse disney did it. but they dropped it. why, i don't know.

reply

I could of sworn I saw a Family Ties clip on one of the episodes.

reply

Yeah, I think you're right. I remember one episode where piggy was talking about having a crush on Michael J Fox or something.

These are probably the reasons why a DVD is so hard to do, copyright issues?

Everything doesn't happen for a reason, people simply justify reasons for things that happen

I remember this one episode where Piggy is trying to hook up with Micheal J fox.
and her raunchy advances coincide with the footage of MJF.. Hilarious !

she basicly wants to jump his bones, well she's impling , that she wants him bad ! and he's kinda like " ok.. alright "".. it's the funniest thing ever, a muppet baby lusting after Micheal j fox , lol !!

I'm sure if they did finally decide to release this show on DVD, they would probably have to obliterate some of those scenes.
