Why do you think they didn't show Nanny's face?

I guess the same reason they didn't show Dr. Claw's face in Inspector Gadget. If they had shown what he looked like it would have never lived up to what people probably imagined such an evil man looked like. Actually they did show his face on an action figure but it was huge letdown. He looked like a bigger moron than Gadget.

Back to Muppet Babies I guess that was the reason they did not show Nanny's face so that you could imagine yourself what she looked like.

Maybe a nod to Peanuts? You never saw the adults faces there either.

Dragonzord! Mastodon! Pterodactyl! Triceratops! Saber Toothed Tiger! Tyrannosaurus!

I always figured it was because she was the authority figure, so was left veiled in mystery.

So you'd continue watching the show until they did.

Because essentially, the camera is at the eye level of the babies.

Can't stop the signal.

^ this Since the babies are down below, and only come up to Nanny's waist, if even that tall, we see her as they see her, from the waist down.

Nanny and Dr. Claw were the same person. Dr. Claw liked to cross dress and hang out with muppets in his spare time to unwind from the stress of being MAD's leader.
