anyone seen mistral's daughter!????????????

hello this is bugging me, my mum has wanted to buy mistral's daughter, for years as she saw it when she was very young, so i finally managed to buy it from the netherlands on ebay. the reason my mum wanted too see it again was because she loved the end. but was very disappointed when she said she had watched a completely different ending to the 1 we had just purchased, if youve seen it can you let me know what ending you saw, because this is really bugging us lol, thank you, lorna xxx:)
