This was a gritty cop drama about drug stings. How did you envision a Xmas episode?
if a season would be like a year in their lives, i figure their would be at least one bust that happens near christmas time in miami. there could be decorations hanging in some scenes. maybe tubbs is trying to have a nice christmas with his lady friend but crockett and him are caught up trying to bust some coke dealers so he might not make it on time.
shareMaybe the show was too gritty to go there. Plus, Miami feels a bit counter-intuitive to a holiday setting. I’m sure they still could have made something work. However, they never really acknowledged seasons on the show. It always seemed to be perpetually summer.
shareyeah, i agree it was always basically always summer in miami. maybe they got december off every year.
