No private lives?

Apart from the occasional fling, we don't get to see Sunny's and Rico's private lives. Do we ever get to see where Rico lives? They seem to have no friends or family or girlfriends. I wish we got to see more of that. I'm watching season 2 right now. Saw all the seasons but don't remember them. So forgive me if my questions get answered in later seasons.

I like that, tv shows now have way too much screen time for the private lives of their characters, it slows things down.

Didn't Sunny have an ex wife and son in season 1 appear?
