Is the US DVD uncut?

I just got the 2-disk US DVD. I have never seen this mini-series, but have wanted to since it was first shown back in the 80s. I did read the novelization years ago, but am finally about to see it on DVD. I know the film was originally shown in 3 parts (if I'm not mistaken), yet there are only 2 disks in the DVD set. I was just wondering if anyone knew if the US DVD was complete or an abbreviated version.

The miniseries is in 3 parts.

I mini series is in 3 parts. What I was asking is if the 2-disk US DVD release is uncut. Thanks though...
