Whether or not Glee is adult geared, it still has a big turnout of young people, no less. Also, it basically does what Kids Incorporated did, turning a new generation of young people onto songs from decades past. The thing I liked about Kids Incorporated was, sure, they had a good share of 80s songs they covered, but they also covered songs from the 70s and 60s, introducing a lot of kids to those songs that they might not have been old enough to remember, or even born. Glee is doing the same thing. I haven't heard so many kids on YouTube getting into "Don't Stop Believing" before in my life. And it's not just the covered versions, mind you. Glee's turning younger people onto older music, getting them interested in stuff they probably never would've sought out otherwise, which isn't a bad thing. It's nice to see an appreciation for old things more than it is to see people ragging on old things.
The only difference is, Glee is kinda the PG-13 version(KI was ultra G rated)
