John Heard, 'A Weekend to Remember'

I've just watched the excellent "A Weekend to Remember" from Season One, and I was very pleased to see the superb John Heard's guest appearance as Kate's ex-husband. Too bad he was only in that episode.

Does anyone know why he's not listed in the cast here? Does an actor have to be in at least two episodes? I see it's listed on John Heard's page.
