Kramer was pissed that they wanted to do another rape episode and she said it was purely for ratings.

She was also pissed that Dryer had taken control of the show and was getting multiple paychecks as an actor, writer, producer and director while she herself wasn't getting any raises even though the ratings were good.

[R37] I think she left because the show had become much more of a boy's club and her once tough character was reduced to playing a heroin needing rescue by Dryer. The music career was just a cover.
