shareSome things are left in the past I guess. People are cynical these days. HtH was a nice show, but it had its day.
I just finished watching season 1 episode 2. It's the first time I've seen it since I was a kid growing up in Australia. A little corny here and there but it's wonderful. A great message and still moving. Just the music alone gets to me lol.
No, simply because we have evolved. Most children would find it silly and absurd.
shareYes I believe you are right. It's very sad that children of today are watching shows that glorify being a pregnant teenager but not a good moral show like this one. I grew up on this show and Little House so I can actually remember when TV had decent shows that taught about love, sharing, charity, morality and self respect. My daughter grew up watching Little House reruns and she adored Touched by an Angel. I REALLY wish we had great shows like these once again.

I honestly don't think so. Each era has shows that are like little time capsules...shows that could only have been made in that specific time frame. The 1980s was a perfect time for Highway to Heaven. 2016? Heck, no. People are way too bitter these days to sit down and watch something that's just pure openness and sweetness like this show was. Maybe if it turned out in the end, Mark had multiple-personality disorder and Jonathan was really his other personality, LOL. A twist like that might hook some people.
