Write MGM for a DVD release of George Washington

Anyone who wants to see this mini-series on DVD should mail the following form letter to MGM Home Entertainment.

Dear Sir:

I am writing this letter to urge you to release the 1984 mini-series George Washington and its 1986 sequel George Washington II: The Forging of a Nation on DVD. Both mini-series starred Barry Bostwick. George Washington was nominated for six Emmys (including Outstanding Cinematography for a Limited Series or a Special, Oustanding Film Editing for a Limited Series or a Special, Oustanding Limited Series and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or a Special). George Washington II was nominated for two Emmys and an Eddie (Best Edited Episode from a Television Mini-Series).

Neither mini-series has been released on DVD.

When you do decide to release both mini-series on DVD, please restore and re-master the original, un-cut, un-edited versions that aired on CBS. I'd really appreciate it if you could include the original CBS promotional trailers as well.
