Snake-Eyes vs Storm-Shadow

Did this fight ever happen in this series, it always pissed me off when it was Spirit or Quick Kick vs Storm-Shadow, but no Snake-Eyes! C'mon, what the hell were the cartoon writers thinking!

No, and that was always a source of frustration when I was a kid. Larry Hama famously created a very interconnected history between the two (see; Marvel's G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero issues #26 and #27 for a great origin/backstory about the two), but for some reason Ron Friedman got it in his head to make Spirit the one Storm Shadow always seemed to face off against (starting in the Revenge of Cobra mini-series, I believe)

Yeah, I'm watching the entire series on dvd and a lot of these episodes I haven't seen in 30 years and that annoying frustation of no Snake-Eyes vs Storm Shadow is coming back.

Snake Eyes in general got the shaft in the animated series. After being featured prominently in the original mini-series, he pretty much got shoved into the background, and never got one single Snake Eyes focused episode.

I get that he's a mute character, and that might not exactly port well to TV, but he was arguably the most popular Joe, and he didn't need to talk for them to put the focus on him for a single stinking episode.
