I was just watching this on Youtube, for the first time since I caught the series when it originally aired on public TV in the States back in the '80s. Unlike so many fondly remembered shows that, when you watch them again years later, turn out to be really quite mediocre, EDC is actually better than I remembered. Fabulous cast, fabulous writing, wonderfully understated and genuine.
